#BeKind

The recognition by the Plum Mustang Foundation relates to the Rachel’s Challenge initiative, a nationally acclaimed program that " envisions schools full of hope, free from harassment, violence, and self-harm, where teachers are free to teach and students are inspired to learn (rachelschallenge.org)."

Students are recognized by PBSD faculty and staff, for their “positive behavior and commitment to a positive school climate.”

Thanks to the foundation's generous donors, students in kindergarten through fourth grade will all receive #BeKind t-shirts to support the #BePlumPositive initiative.

The #BeKind t-shirts will be worn by the students on special days throughout the school year to reinforce the message of kindness.

The Plum Mustang Foundation plans on expanding this initiative to provide students in grades 5-6 with #BeKind t-shirts as soon as the foundation receives additional funding. If you are interested in donating to support this initiative, please go here to make a donation.
